Our story
My name is Anh, a Vietnamese actor and writer based in Spain and France. I moved to A Coruña in 2016 to study Spanish and English Literature, but I’ve always dreamed of working in film.
One day, after reading about the collab between Buñuel and Dalí in Un Chien Andalou, I realized something: no matter where we are as artists, we can only grow when we have a strong collective.
That’s why my friends and I founded La Cineteca — to create a safe space for Spain-based actors and filmmakers who want to find their dream team and go global.

My and Anh met in a filmmaking class in Hanoi back in 2015. After seven years working in marketing, her heart still belongs to cinema.

Ngoc Diep Be
Artist, advisor, Ho Chi Minh city
Studied Stanislapski technique at Cinematic Arts Academy, Ho Chi Minh city.
Diep and Anh first met on Instagram, bonding over their shared love for cinema. She started out as a climate change scientist, yet never stopped dreaming about acting. Just two years after entering the industry, she had already worked on several major film projects in Vietnam:

Almudena Pimentel
Artist, advisor, Madrid
Graduated in musical theatre in RESAD, Madrid. Studied acting with Assumpta Serna, Scott Cleverdon, casting director Camilla-Valentine Isola, and Meisner technique with Steven Ditmyer.
Almudena and Anh met at an acting workshop in Barcelona. She’s passionate about scenic fencing, singing, and dancing. She currently performs with an interactive theatre company.

Quan Tran
Assistant, Ho Chi Minh city
Architecture student, Vietnamese-German University.
Quan dreams of becoming an art director. Quan and Anh share a love for aesthetics and strong work ethics. At La Cineteca, Quan assists with our events and film projects to deepen his understanding of art direction and production design.
